Weigh In #16

Happy Friday!!!  I hope you all are as excited about the weekend as I am!!  It will busy but fun!!!

Of Course...Tomorrow is Mini-Goal #2-The Rudolph Run.  My two work pals (Lindsey and Kristen) and I will be walking bright and early in the AM...Representing TEAM MAWA!!!  I am looking forward to completing another goal and getting pumped up for another week of this Journey!

Saturday evening will be Christmas decorating with my Mom and Uncle and then on to Sunday for Church, a workout...some Football...a church program...you know...the usual!

OK...so today was weigh in #16...and I must say something...(for those of you easily offended...close your eyes)...DAMN...this is hard!!!!  I mean really....For as much as I have been riding a bike, rowing a boat (so to speak) and doing whatever it is I am doing on the Evil Elliptical...one would think I would have lost tons of weight AND been in China by now!!!! BUT NOOOOO!!!!!  I lost 1lb....that's all...1 tiny, little pound...OK...I had to get that out of my system.

So reality...I have lost another pound and I am one little tiny micro step closer to my goal.  Despite my little outburst...It feels great to be getting healthier and I have had  a few victories this last few weeks.

  • I survived my first skinny Thanksgiving
  • My clothes are getting too big
  • I extended my time on the Evil Elliptical from 5 minutes (don't laugh) to 15 minutes (again, don't laugh)
  • I have set another mini-goal
  • and the big one...I am still breathing!!!

I WILL COMPLETE THIS GOAL!!!!

  1. MMMMM....brussel sprouts and sweet potato, sounds like one of our dinners!....mini goal coming up.....for one week, drink a glass of water (4 to 6 ounces) every hour.....since I know you love water, just chug it, to see if it promotes more weight loss by the end of that week?

    Fun with Rudolph tomorrow! A.C.

  2. I don't see green tea on the list, but I think it's supposed to boost your metabolism too. I have some in my drawer at work that I really like. Maybe I'll let you try some :)
